Here, you can find a comprehensive list of my musical compositions, a MIDI audio sample where applicable, and in some cases a brief sample of the score. Accompanying each composition is a brief description of the piece’s inspiration and some interesting background. The tab labeled “Improvisations and Albums” contains information on the improvised collections of music I’ve released on various platforms.
I’ve also listed my accomplishments in piano performance, which I’ve been studying for nine years, on a separate tab below. There, you can find a complete list of the pieces I’ve learned, with links to performances on YouTube where applicable.
Lastly, on a fourth tab, you can view all electronic or synthesized music I’ve created in MuseScore 4, usually part of the lo-fi genre.

Andromeda Fantasies
Composed: 07/2025 – 03/2026
Instruments: Piano Solo
Duration: 16:00
Movements:
- 1. Notturno
- 2. Scherzando
- 3. Allegro con fuoco (in progress)
Andromeda Fantasies is my second multi-movement piano solo work. I started composing the first movement in July 2025, as it was based off an acoustic transcription I recorded. I later transformed that into MuseScore, which became the first movement, making some minor modifications to increase interest and variety.
The second movement, Scherzando, is much more upbeat and lively than the melancholy first movement. With a recurring stacatto theme and a noisy left hand throughout the piece adding a kind of beat and rhythm, it’s the contrasting kind of piece that fits well against the first movement.
The thid movement, Allegro con fuoco, is currently in progress as of March 2026. Although it’s at around the same tempo as the second movement, it’s much more serious and dark in some places than the Scherzando. So the Allegro con fuoco also includes a slow section in the middle where nothing seems to happen; contrasting with the rather aggressive opening section that morphs into a slightly slower section, but then comes back with even greater force before transitioning to the slow section.
The full recordings of the first two movements can be found below, on SoundCloud, as part of an “album” which entitled “Andromeda Fantasies” containing the songs. The third movement sound recording is coming soon. All three recordings are of course MIDI files from MuseScore.
Of Innocence Lost
Composed: 01/2026
Instruments: Violin + Piano
Duration: approx. 05:50
Of Innocence Lost was my first multi-instrument piece, and my first time writing for an instrument other than the piano. There were certainly some challenges along the way, primarily relating to the technical and physical limits of the violin. But, after over five months of composition, everything ended up coming together in the complete piece. And now, it’s finally done.
There’s a recurring theme of “innocence” that pops up throughout this piece, as you probably guessed from the title. In the beginning we’re teased with quick bouts of it–the entire first page is a long, lyrical line with soft, sweeping notes in the violin–but then we slowly begin to lose that innocence as it dissolves into dark chords and melancholy tones.
Yet the innocence comes back intermittently, breaking through the darkness in brief phrases and pieces. By the end of the piece, however, the melancholy has completely taken over, and the song ends in much the same way as it started–with short two- or three-note calls echoing in or out. This is Of Innocence Lost: a journey through an uncertain fog, punctuated by glimpses of sunshine and innocence, eventually ending in darkness and the same uncertainty that set it off to begin with.
Rondo in A Minor
Composed: 10/2025
Instruments: Piano four hands (duet)
Duration: approx. 03:00
I originally composed Rondo in A Minor so I could perform it with my grandma on an upcoming vacation. However, I soon realized that there was a whole lot more I could do with this piece after the initial performances, so I made some modifications and expanded the middle section of the piece. The complete version that you see on the right is one of the final versions, with the changes and additions I made in October 2025.
I actually went back through Rondo in A Minor recently and added some additional enhancements, such as a transposed opening section and some corrections to the note spellings throughout the piece. The updated version has not yet been performed and is only available in MIDI format. You can listen to that audio recording in the embed to the right, on SoundCloud.
Three Capricious Themes
Composed: 8/2025
Instruments: Piano solo
Duration: approx. 13:00
Three Capricious Themes was my first serious, multi-work, piano solo composition. One of the first compositions I transcribed at all, I finished the third movement in August 2025 after having worked on it for about six months total. The first movement, entitled Moderato, is a slow, brooding piece that starts off with a jolting and energetic section. It then transforms into complicated runs with feathered beams and other interesting playing techniques.
The second movement, called Allegro (or Suspension), is eerily similar in many ways to the opening of my more recent Transcription #2 for piano and cello. The high-octave eighth notes are meant to simulate the falling of raindrops, and the notes occur in seemingly random orders. The piece then begins to move into a hurried and frantic section, switching to 3/2 time for extra emphasis. The ending, bringing back some of the uncertainty and loftliness from the opening, leaves things relatively “up in the air” (especially since the right hand is still screaming up there in the 8VA).
The third and final movement, titled Andante (or Proximity) is much more jaunty than the first two movements, containing some stacatto eighth notes in the opening and set in leisurely 6/8 time. However, things begin to go insane on the second page with the sixteenth notes crescendoing into a large intense, t=which then explodes downwards into a penitent and subdued section with intermittent sixteenth notes in the right hand. After another long and energetic section of eighth notes, there is a Smooth but deteremiend passage of arpeggios, which then gives way into the most interesting part of the piece at the end: a rhytmic dance with several insane sixteenth notes (quite technically challenging) and then an all-out scream towards the relatively quiet ending, which seems to disappear off into nowhere.
The MIDI sound recordings of all three movements can be listened to at right, on SoundCloud.

Pieces Learned & Played in 2026
Sonatina in C Major, I. Allegro giocoso
Date: April 2026
Composer: Aram Khachaturian
Duration: approx. 2:30
Etude Op. 25, No. 2 in F minor “The Bees”
Date: April 2026
Composer: Frederic Chopin

Pieces Learned & Played in 2025
Waltz in A-Flat Major, Op. 69, No. 1
Date: Finished January 2026
Composer: Frederic Chopin
Duration: approx. 4:00
Although I learned this piece in 2025 for the IAPMT Grand International Autumn Competition that year, I ended up playing it at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2026 for the same organization, following a first-place win there. Thus far, it has been one of my most favorite pieces that I’ve played by Chopin. While not technically challenging in any way, I’ve found that it requires profound emotional sensitivity and expression in several parts.
Fantaisie-Impromptu in C-Sharp Minor, Op. 66
Date: November 2025
Composer: Frederic Chopin
Duration: approx. 5:00
This was one of the more technically-challenging pieces I played in 2025. One of Chopin’s most famous compositions, it features an agitated and energetic opening, and a beautiful slow section in D-flat Major. It was challenging to master the chromatic scales and runs scattered throughout the piece, but it was certainly a good learning experience and a technique-building piece.
Sonata in C Major, K. 309 – Allegro con spirito
Date: April 2025
Composer: W.A. Mozart
Duration: approx. 4:40
I learned this piece for the 2025 Texas A&M Yvonne Clements Piano Competition, choosing it over a Beethoven sonata of similar difficulty. Lively and bright throughout, it features many fast passages and tricky sixteenth notes that need to be treated carefully to avoid mistakes. But the piece also demands thorough articulations and voicing in several areas to add variation and interest.
Piano Concerto in D Major (Joseph Haydn)
Date: January-April 2025
Composer: Joseph Haydn
Duration: approx. 6:40
I started learning this piece in late 2024 and finished in early 2025, in order to perform it for a series of competitions. The video featured to the left is one of the last performances of this concerto in April 2025. This Haydn concerto was my first time collaborating with another pianist in a concerto format; I also took the opportunity to compose my own cadenza for the piece, which you can hear at the end of the video. Overall, I found this concerto to be an exciting and informative experience in musical collaboration.
Pieces Learned & Played in 2024
Sonata in G major, Hob. XVI:27 – 3rd Movement
Date: November 2024
Composer: Joseph Haydn
Duration: approx. 2:40
I learned this piece, along with Scott Joplin’s The Entertainer (details below) for the 2024 MTNA Piano Competition. The third movement of this sonata is fast-paced (Presto) and contains a series of challenging, high-speed runs. In the video to the left, you can see this sonata and The Entertainer performed at the MTNA piano competition in November 2024.
The Entertainer (Scott Joplin)
Date: November 2024
Composer: Scott Joplin
Duration: approx. 2:30
This is the second piece that I learned along with the Haydn Sonata in G Major (also in the video at left). One of Joplin’s most popular and well-known ragtime pieces, it’s quite an upbeat adventure with syncopation, complex rhythms, and sharp dynamic contrasts.
Banana Sorbet (Gary K Thomas)
Date: April 2024
Composer: Gary K. Thomas
Duration: approx. 1:20
I learned this bouncy and more contemporary piece for the 2024 FMTA Trophy Competition, where I ended up winning 1st place. Gary K. Thomas is a modern composer who has written many works similar to the Sorbet, including his famous Cat and the Mouse Tango. The Banana Sorbet is one of his shorter pieces, and incorporates recurring rhythmic patterns to convey the feeling of eating banana sorbet on a placid beach.
Pieces Learned & Played in 2023
Chopin Nocturne in E-Flat Major, Op. 9, No. 2
Date: October 2023
Composer: Frederic Chopin
Duration: approx. 4:10
This was one of the two Chopin pieces I learned for the 2023 Chopin Society Piano Competition in Houston, Texas. It’s arguably one of Chopin’s most beautiful nocturnes, containing an impressive and slow opening followed by a series of fast runs in the middle section, that give way to a long and elaborate trill in the ending.
Chopin Mazurka in G Minor, Op. 24, No. 1
Date: October 2023
Composer: Frederic Chopin
Duration: approx. 2:30
This is the second piece that I learned along with the Haydn Sonata in G Major (also in the video at left). One of Joplin’s most popular and well-known ragtime pieces, it’s quite an upbeat adventure with syncopation, complex rhythms, and sharp dynamic contrasts.
Streetside Contemplations
Released: 01/2026
Tracks: 8
Total duration: 38 minutes
Tracklist
- Elegy
- Bring Them Peace
- Fading Light
- Streetside Contemplations
- Nocturne of the Flooded
- Midnight Raindrops
- Last Summer
- Requiem
Released in January 2026, Streetside Contemplations is the sixth album I’ve released on YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, and other places. It is a medium-length collection, featuring an assortment of primarily piano or piano and cello improvisations. Unlike my fully-scored pieces (see the Compositions tab), I played these entirely on the spot, recording them on the Studio One 4 digital audio workstation with a MIDI keyboard. On the pieces which I choose to include additional instruments, I simply layered them on with the keyboard in normal form.
This particular album is dedicated to the lives lost and destroyed during the November 2025 flooding of Hat Yai, Thailand. For context, my mother’s family members (and several of my aunts and uncles) live there, and their lives were seriously affected by the disaster. To this day, they are still trying to clean up and restore their dwelling from the incident; the flooding was extremely large-scale and caused billions of dollars in damage. (Read more about the flooding here). Many of the songs in this album are variations on the themes of floods and rising water, especially “Nocture of the Flooded”, which is a direct reflection upon the troubling times that this album is intended to encapsulate. “Elegy”, a piano and cello piece in D Major, is also a key piece that reflects upon this prospect.

Reflections of Winter
Released: 12/2024
Tracks: 9
Total Duration: 52 minutes
Tracklist
- Alone in the Universe
- Through Rivers and Valleys
- Nature Serenade / Fading Light
- Celestial Wonder
- Reflections of Time
- Infinite Fog
- Waltz of the Undergrowth
- Eulogy of Clouds
- Last Words
Reflections of Winter was the traditional holiday album I released in December 2024. Featuring nine songs primarily reflecting on the heavens, the stars, and other introspective themes, this album features more atmospheric piano compositions than previous ones. I did attempt to experiment with a little more different textures while improvising with “Waltz of the Undergrowth”, which you’ll notice sounds a little different from the other pieces.
As with all the past albums, all the pieces in Reflections of Winter were improvised on the spot with a MIDI keyboard, rather than with MuseScore and transcription software and the regular composition. This album happened to be the second one I’d released in the year 2024, following Summertime.

Summertime
Released: 05/2024
Tracks: 8
Total duration: 1h 1 min
Tracklist
- On Mossy Banks and Glassy Rivers
- Dreaming Tears
- Burning of the Past
- Facing Reality
- Open Fields
- Meltdown
- Searching for Memories
- On Moonlit Nights
Summertime was the only album I released during 2024, but it’s one of the only ones I’ve created during the summer season. As a result, its themes tend to be about nature, reflecting upon various scenes and landscapes presnt during summertime. This album primarily contains piano and cello pieces, compared with the mostly piano compositions of the other albums.
I designed the album art of this collection in Affinity Designer 2, and it seems to have turned out to be one of the best art designs out of all the album’s I’ve released. A few of the others have been rather had to read, or unfortunate in other ways. This was an average-length album with a total duration of one hour.
